Olayemi Lawal is a Nigerian, An erudite research scholar and Biomedical Science professional with over 8 years of Experience in Healthcare diagnostics, Clinical Research, Training and Education in Private and Public Institutions in Nigeria and Abroad.
He is the Regional Director for the East Africa office of G$I Clinical Research For Africa Limited in Ethiopia and allied Countries. He Coordinates the Implementation of the organization objectives and clinical trial activities viz-a-viz, SOP development and Protocol design, Project management, liaise and initiates with Research Sponsors and Investigators, Data and Clinical trial Mappings, Networking and capacity building, And provide regular updates to the President of the Organization and relates with other team members.
He was a graduate of Biomedical Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Nigeria. He had his Masters degree in Medical/Molecular Microbiology with distinction from the renowned University of Lagos,Nigeria and an Advanced post graduate Diploma in Clinical research at Kriger research Institute, Ontario, Canada where he majored in Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs, ICH GCP,GMP and GLP.
His research experience geared his interest to pursue a Doctoral degree in Public Health with focus in Infectious Disease and Molecular epidemiology using Clinical trial approach and techniques.
He his an Alunmi of the notable agencies and institutes such as the US-Department of Defence Walter Reed Program, Nigeria, The Kriger Research Institute, Ontario, Canada, and has worked in globally recognized Contract Research Organizations as a Clinical research Quality associate and Regulatory specialist. He has published research articles in International Journals.
